The approach of 5G commercialization has prompted all countries to step up the research of 5G and actively search for new spectrum resources in the millimeter wave band. For this reason, the coexistence simulation study of 5G and other systems has been carried out.At present, developed countries such as Europe and the United States have confirmed 3 to 4 candidate frequency bands in the millimeter wave frequency band, and the study of coexistence of the 5G to other systems is carried out on these bands.Domestically,24.25?27.5GHz and 37?43.5GHz are identified as 5G candidate bands.Currently, there are more coexistence simulation conclusions in the 26GHz band, but they are relatively vacant in the 40GHz band. This thesis builds a simulation platform for the coexistence of 5G to the fixed-satellite service in the millimeter band(40GHz)and gives a preliminary coexistence conclusion. The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1)Establish a 5G deployment scenario model according to Recommendation ITU-R M.2101-0 and with reference to 4G deployment experience.Propose a coexistence scene of 5G and satellite earth stations in urban and suburban areas, and code each path loss function through C++ language. With the positive hexagon feature of the macro cell, the position of each cell can be expressed by the oblique coordinate system. With the reference of the 5G base station and the satellite earth station parameters given by the ITU-R working groups, the system-level simulation platform of 5G to the satellite fixed service is built. The simulation concludes that the 5G can coexist with the fixed-satellite service at a certain isolation distance in the 40 GHz band.(2)According to the 5G protocol frozen by 3GPP in December 2017,code communication module functions of 5G physical downlink shared channel through C++language.A link-level software simulation platform for 5G and DVB-S2 systems(a communication system widely used in the fixed-satellite service)is built on the System Vue software. The simulation shows that 5G can coexist with the DVB-S2 system under a certain signal to interference and noise ratio in the 40 GHz band.(3)Download the 5G digital signal to the instrumentation and then generate a 5G RF signal, superimpose the 5G signal and DVB-S2 RF signal and on the semi-physical platform. Then the mixed signal will be upconverted to 40GHz to analysis the path loss in free space.Parsing the interfered signal at the receiving end to obtain a relationship between the signal to interference plus noise ratio and the bit error rate.Building a semi-physical platform to simulate the transmission of real signals in the loop can verifies the correctness of the software link-level simulation coexistence results.
