Rational usage of limited radio spectrum resources is the focus of attention in order to improve spectrum utilization. System sharing can effectively improve the frequency efficiency, but in order to ensure the operation, it is necessary for two systems to sharing study. In recent years, broadband wireless access systems (BWA) with its unique advantages in the industry’s attention. At present, in China, suitable candidates for broadband wireless access operators are mainly 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz frequency bands. However,3700-4200MHz is the primary operating frequency band fixed-satellite service, but because of the limited band satellite service can no longer meet the demand, so the fixed-satellite service to be extended to 3400-3700MHz, and co-exist with broadband wireless access in the 3.5GHz frequency bands.Based on the above, this thesis give the sharing study result and the protected distantce between the fixed-satelite service and broadband wireless access system in the different conditions, mainly through the theoretical analysis method to calculate the fixed-satelite downlink interfering the broadband wireless access system(base station, terminal station),and use the same method to calculate the broadband wireless access(base station) interfering to earth station of fixed-satlites sevice, and use the Monte Carlo method to calculate the broadband wireless access(terminal station) interfering the earth station of fixed-satlites servise. At Finally through testing method to verity the interference between the broadband wireless access systems and the earth station of fixed-satellite service. Finally, combining theoretical calculation and actual test results, we are given fixed-satellite service and broadband wireless access systems coexisting conditions, including protection distance and protection frequency.
