With the development of journalism, news innovation is constantly emerging. Some news innovations like meteors appear in journalism and disappear after they appear. Some news innovations like stars continue to develop and emerge, and gradually stabilize into a more stable form of news. This form of news is considered as a stable form of news.It is precisely because news innovation has constantly generated new and stable news types that news practice activities can be launched in the ever-expanding text space. But how does a new form of news come into being and continue to develop?Although this issue has been raised repeatedly in contemporary journalism research,it has not been explored in depth. An objective limitation is that most of the existing news types already exist, and it is difficult to observe the process of typification in reality, except from the perspective of the evolution history of news texts. However,in recent years,as a new type of news,Data-driven journalism has given researchers a good opportunity to observe news typification closely.Under what social conditions can a new type of news be generated and sustained? This paper attempts to explore this problem by investigating the practical process of Data-driven journalism. After investigating the reasons for the rise and development of Data-driven journalism, the formation of sustainable actors and environment in practice, and the fixed composition and orientation of the text,it is found that the satisfaction of users'needs, the availability of production objects and the matching of production systems are the important reasons for influencing the typification of news.By exploring the typification of news, people can more clearly understand the driving force of news development, which can play a reference role in combing the history of news and the future development of Data-driven journalism.
