This paper uses quantitative and qualitative methods to study the asthma burden in China through data analysis,in-depth interviews, content analysis and text analysis, and finally presents it in the form of a website.Compared to the global asthma, the situation of asthma patients in China is very severe.Asthma patients in China suffer from the disease for the rest of their life due to its high incidence and low mortality.According to the data trends of the global disease burden indicators, the disability-adjusted life year of asthma patients in China has been on the rise since 2008,and it shows that the years of life lost and the year lived with disability because of asthma have both increased in China. In 2017,the amount of asthma incidence in China ranked first in the world, and the death toll ranks third in the world.Men aged under 19 and over 60 in China are at higher risk of asthma.Research shows that due to the lack of disease knowledge and education, asthma patients in China have a great burden of disease.Repeated hospitalization resulted from improper self-management has exerted huge financial pressure on families and society.Among all the 30 cities surveyed in China between 2015 and 2016,only Shenyang and Nanning obtained an over 60% asthma control rate. The trigger and symptoms of asthma vary from person to person, and identifying the trigger factors and symptoms of asthma as soon as possible is helpful to reduce the asthma incidence.Overall,It is imperative to improve people's awareness toward asthma and popularize the disease education.
