With the rapid development of electronic technology,digital library has gradually become an indispensable part of the process of message transmission and acquisition.Despite the rapid development of the digital library,it has the following shortcomings:(1)The search of data only can be carried out by using the headwords in user input sentences,and can't be matched according to the meaning implied in the language.(2)The content presented by the user is not semantic information that can be recognized by the computer.However,these shortcomings in the digital library can be compensated by using semantic technology,and it can also enhance the semantics of the digital library.This dissertation analyzes the current domestic and foreign discussion on digital library and the defects in the field of digital library.At the same time,combining with its relevant functions,we build a digital library ontology base with semantic web technology as the core technology,and use this ontology base for query and retrieval.The following is the specific content and innovation of this dissertation:(1)According to the known disadvantages of current digital library,two kinds of ontologies are summarized: The ontology of the library and the ontology of the book metadata.After consulting the book information and the book classification number several times,the class,the attributes,and the examples of book domain ontology are determined by us.Finally,the construction of library ontology knowledge base is completed,in other words,the book information metadata ontology is constructed by multidirectional analysis and DC metadata.(2)Integrating the relevant application of digital library and build a query system model based on ontology semantic technology.At the beginning,through SPARQL query language,the retrieval statement written by the user begins to expand the retrieval of its specific meaning,and searches its connection hierarchy and actual cases.And then,we use Jena to infer the user's input queries.What's more,the above processed words and sentences are arranged in order with the improved semantic algorithm.In the end,Lucene is used to establish the correspondence between words and documents and search the contents in the index library.
