In the modern information era,wireless communication technology has developed speedily,and information exchange and transmission are increasingly frequent.However,spectrum resources are gradually limited,causing problems of spectrum congestion.Visible Light Communication has attracted wide attention because of its rich spectrum resources.Besides.Polar Code is a channel coding that only can reach Shannon Limit in theory,and it can effectively reduce BER.Therefore,this paper combines the advantages of Polar Code,mainly studies channel coding technology for VLC based on Polar Code.This paper sufficiently investigates research background of VLC and research status of channel coding at home and abroad.elaborates system composition of VLC and modulation technology,and introduces five main channel coding technologies,including linear block code,convolutional code,Turbo Code,LDPC Code and Polar Code,respectively,and introduces their course of development,coding and decoding algorithm.In this paper,coding and decoding process of Polar Code are deeply studied,and an improved Polar Code coding scheme for VLC system is innovatively proposed.This scheme mainly improves high complexity of exclusive OR operation in traditional coding structure.At the transmitter,the signal to be transmitted is iterated according to the original core coding principle of Polar Code in the way of transmitting two bits information per channel.Then,these coding output signals obtained by two-two exclusive OR operation are identical with the traditional coding,thus forming coding output signals of Polar code,then carry out corresponding signal transmission.In this paper the proposed new scheme is simulated and analyzed.Firstly.BER performance of LDPC Code and Polar Code in AWGN channel is compared,and BER performance of Polar Code on different parameters in VLC channel is analyzed.Using Polar Code channel coding technology can improve transmission accuracy,improve system performance.Then,the performance of computational complexity is analyzed.The simulation results show that the improved Polar Code coding scheme can reduce computational complexity exponentially by 2 greatly reducing computational complexity and improving system performance.
