Today is the Internet age,in order to constantly adapt to new needs,high-definition coding standards for video with different definitions are gradually born.The H.264/AVC coding standard is a video coding protocol widely used today.As the latest generation video standard,HE VC has further improved the coding efficiency compared with H.264/AVC.Compared with H.264/AVC,HEVC can save about half of the code rate,which is the premise of guaranteeing the quality of processed video images.The coding efficiency has nearly doubled.At the same time,the cost of HEVC efficient coding is a great increase in algorithm complexity.In order to make a smooth transition between coding protocols,the research focus of this paper is to find out the fast transcoding architecture and strategy that can be used in transcoding H.264/AVC video resources to H.265/HEVC video resources.This paper introduces two video coding standards,theoretically analyzes the correlation between the two coding structures,and gives verifiable experimental data.Based on this,an H.264 to H.265 video fast transcoding scheme based on macroblock conversion is proposed.This paper also analyzes the correlation of the intra prediction modes of the two video coding protocols.The verification data shows that the correlation between the two prediction modes is more than 70%under the experimental conditions of this paper.This paper further proposes a screening scheme that utilizes the intra prediction mode angle.In this paper,the designed transcoder architecture is given,and the design experiments are carried out on this architecture.Experiments show that the transcoding strategy mentioned in this paper greatly improves the conversion efficiency of coding blocks and reduces the number of intra prediction mode types that need to be calculated during HEVC re-encoding.The strategy also reduces the computation complexity in the transcoding process,increases the calculation speed,and reduces the transcoding time.Tests show that the transcoding scheme proposed in this paper can save nearly 40%of transcoding time compared to the original guiding implementation under the premise of ensuring video quality.
