The development of NAND FLASH technology brings an innovation in storage field.Solid State Disk rapidly displaces traditional hard drives by the advantages of fast speed,small volume,light weight,vibrate resistance,low-power dissipation,etc,and turns into the representative of the new generation of hard disk storage technology,which is widely used in many areas like common consumer electronics,enterprise control system,industry,communication,military,space exploration,video monitor,embedded device,energy,etc.Nowadays informatization is the general trend of world economy and society development,and becoming an important force to push economic and social change.Human society has entered information period,informatization brought us a lot of benefits,as well as increasing information security problems.Information security concerns not only personal privacy and trade secret,but also national security.Hardware Encryption is used in SSD based on the characteristics of National commercial cipher algorithm SM4,realizing encrypting storage of data and promoting data storage security without degrading bandwidth performance.Taking security into consideration,CBC mode is selected as the running mode of block encryption algorithm.However CBC mode needs final round results as input of next data grouping,resulting in multiple data grouping not able to be realized.And single engine bandwidth can't satisfy the bandwidth demand of SSD SATA interface.So multiple engine mode is adopted in this paper for promoting the bandwidth of encryption-decryption algorithm and matching bandwidth demand of SATA SSD.The SoC design and simulation platform based on uvm technology is built for system simulation.Transmission bandwidth of SATA3 is 6Gbit/s,but effective bandwidth is 6*80%=4.8Gbit/s considering 8b/10b coding.In this paper,encryption algorithm bandwidth by four engines can achieve 4Gbit/s,which can satisfy bandwidth of SATA3 basically.
