Farmland environmental information monitoring is an important part of farmland environmental protection in China,is also an important means to improve the crops yield and control the using of pesticides and fertilizers,and still is an important part of agricultural precision management system.Farmland monitoring can determine the crops nutritional level by monitoring the vegetation index and other parameters,which could achieve the precise fertilization in plots,thereby reducing the fertilizer wasting and field pollution.The monitoring of farmland environmental information provides normative and scientific management basis and guidance suggestions for agricultural production,also provides technical support and help for the management and decision-making of regional agricultural information,and has far-reaching significance for protecting farmland ecological environment,guaranteeing the health of the people and realizing the sustainable development of agricultural industry.Therefore,the monitoring of farmland information should be supported and invested by local governments which should be legal,social and public welfare.In this paper,Farmland monitoring system was designed by WSN,collecting the crops growing and environmental information through the ground sensors and then sending to the data service center through wireless sensor network.The data center generates crop growth parameters such as NDVI value,plant height,canopy temperature and ambient temperature,humidity,paddy field water temperature and so on.Vegetation index is collected by infrared sensors arranged in the field,and plant height is measured by camera monocular vision.The plant height is converted into crop height according to the proportion of pictures.Environmental temperature,humidity and paddy water temperature are collected by corresponding temperature sensors.At the same time the data center of the farmland information monitoring system was designed to adopt the fixed IP address mode in this paper,and transmits the sensor data of the fixed IP address through the socket client to realize the real-time communication of the data.At the same time,the system also provides data information publishing function,farmers and local management departments can access the publishing system of the data center through the Web browser,and can see the real-time information of the land.The realization of the system function enables the local agricultural management departments to understand the basic environment of the whole farm through the system,and to provide decision-making advice for agricultural production by comparing the historical environmental information.At the same time,the system can send short messages to remind farmers and agricultural departments of the current situation of farmland growth.Through the system,fertilization plan and spraying plan were obtained,and sent to farmers as guidance.The realization of farmland information system could improve the agricultural working environment effectively,enhance the economic benefits of farmers,and also reduce the waste of pesticides and chemical fertilizers on the basis of Precise Fertilization and precise spraying,that could reduce the pollution of agricultural residues to the farmland environment fundamentally,maximize the two-way income of farmers.Proving the multi-layer protection to the farmland environment,and also providing the healthy and green agricultural products for the broad masses of the people.
