The advent of the era of mobile Internet,changed the relationship between people and people to the virtual reality interaction relationship of the change.Currently in China's Internet space,various types of virtual community for people to communication,virtual community is striking.Fans are good at using new media technologies.They gather in virtual communities due to their common interests and values,and realize the scale transformation from individuals to groups.Based on the virtual community,fans can devote more attention to the cultural communication of fans.In this process,they produce,spread and consume their unique cultural elements,and their behavior practice has a huge impact on the economy and culture of contemporary China.This research is based on the network ethnography survey of the fans of The Produce 101.The fans of The Produce 101,which is a representative example of fan interaction,are taken as the research objects.Four virtual communities with the highest fan usage in China,namely Weibo,Baidu post bar,Douban group and QQ group,are selected as the observation sites.Combined with fan culture,concept of participatory culture,interactive rite,transmission chain theory,such as through dynamic participatory observation,questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews and other methods,in the virtual community,based on the analysis of cultural transmission fans.This research is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,purpose,significance,research summary and research methods of fan culture communication.In order to better define the research scope of this paper,as well as to lay a solid theoretical foundation for subsequent research,the introduction defines and explains relevant core concepts and theories.Chapter two to four is the focus of this thesis.The second chapter first describes the content of The Produce 101 fans' identity construction based on virtual community from the micro level,and then analyzes the components and operation mechanism of The Produce 101 fans' community interactive ritual chain by using Collins's interactive ritual chain theory.In the third chapter,the author refers to the theory of participatory culture.John fiske believes that the typical feature of fan culture is the culture of fan participation.Through participatory observation and in-depth interview,the author systematically summarizes the fans' communication practices and fans' cultural activities based on virtual communities.As an important embodiment of fan culture,this part of the content is of great significance for the follow-up understanding and research of fan culture communication.The fourth chapter,with the help of James carrey's concept of communication ceremony,reveals the essence of the cultural communication of fans based on virtual community in The Produce 101,and reconstructs the whole process of the cultural communication of fans from the perspective of the concept of communication ceremony.It is hoped that this paper can provide a new direction and perspective for the study of fan culture.
