Design And Implementation Of App For Android Mobile Phone Connecting With Vehicle Navigation System

As the development of vehicle navigation,more and more car equipped with car navigation.However Shortcomings of the car navigation system is exist,such as too expensive,single function,incapable of the installation of other software,inconvenient of upgrading,etc.In recent years,the intelligent mobile phones are more and more,Mobile navigation systems,though growing to a good aid for people as the ubiquity of smart phone,have other defects,such as small screens and inconvenient for operation when driving.Moreover,there is a large gap on the GPS data between mobile navigation systems and car navigation systems.There are numerous choices for mobile phones,but the qualities of mobile phone's GPS device is not the same level,which cause the deviation of both the locating accuracy and the position of the moving vehicle.How to compine the phone navigation and the car navigation,and makes full use of their advantages.This thesis discusses the design and implementation of an App based on Android platform,which can connect with car navigation systems,which gives full play to the respective advantages of car navigation system and mobile phone.A mobile phone App is designed and implemented by this system based on the Android platform.The App can synchronize the display and operation of the car navigation system with mobile navigation system.The car navigation system connects with mobile phone via Bluetooth and HDMI,Bluetooth for data transmission,and HDMI for output to screen.Through the App,mobile phone software can display on the car navigation,and by operating on the car navigation,the mobile navigation system is operated.Other Apps can be developed on Mobile phone according to the SDK provided by the system,both of which can synchronize the display and operation of the car navigation system and mobile navigation system.It is the same for users to install the software in the car navigation system-just like upgrading the traditional navigator to a intelligent navigator.New Apps can be installed through the phone,avoiding the program of the upgrade and installation on the car navigation.Another convenience is that the App type can varies,such as playing software,weather forecast software,networking App,etc,and not limited to navigation system,as long as it can load SDK package.This thesis first introduced the topic background and the development status and technical features of mobile phone App.Then introduces the related technology used in the process of design and development of the App.The software functional requirements are analyzed in detail.Next the overall architecture of App Launcher is introduced,and the design and implementation of the main module is analyzed.Finally,the test of system software is introduced in this paper,and the problems in the debugging process pointed out and the corresponding solutions are raised,and the further work also put forward.
