With the development of economic construction and progress of communication technology, the Mobile-phone Global Positioning System was more and more popular for travel required. Many scholars at home and abroad have been committed to the update and system optimization. Now the Mobile-phone had the function of map reading, map zoom, hotspot searching, localization, navigation and so on. Some of the best took full advantage of 3D multimedia technology to made the automatic information broadcast for map and 3D view. Some products used the advantage of network communication and the popularity of smart mobile phone to allow administers to custom made the map for personal requirement. It is more hommization. But by analyzing the documents and practice of navigation software found two problems: 1.Mobile-phone can’t receipt GPS signal indoor blocked by the buildings, it made the Indoor positioning and navigation is invalidation. 2. Limited by the updates frequency of satellite image and the geographic information of the cartographer, the geographical data was not sufficient in small and remote area. So in such places it can’t provide reliable information for user. The thesis is mainly for the second question to analyze and expatiate. It proposed the idea of to make Mobile phone navigation in small area. And in the campus of Chengdu University of Technology as an example to produce the map of Mobile-phone navigation what is independently of Android intelligent mobile phone platform, it make the system can provide effective internal navigation service for the campus new staffs, it make up the shortage of Baidu, GaoDe and other domestic mobile phone navigation software.The main advantage of system reflected in the detailed and timeliness data of Campus internal, and localization functions. Combined with the presuppose user’s requirements, this paper did data collection and function design. Based on SuperMap and local data and took SuperMap iClient 7C for Android, Eclipse as a development platform, this paper did function development and application. Then the author achieved the following results:(1)Based on the topographic maps of campus and Google Earth images, combined with fieldwork, the most time-sensitive campus electronic map was made by some Mapping software like ArcGIS, SuperMap i Desktop 7C. We designed the map attribute data content according to the functional requirements, and enriched the feature information in the form of attribute table.(2)In order to eliminate the offset between the raster data and image data that from various sources, we did map matching by ArcGIS and completed the seamless splicing.(3)The local data were published by SuperMap iServer, and these data combined with the data of the SuperMap network were used for completed the Android mobile phone navigation map function design for news.(4)It realized the design features based on the Eclipse development platform, such as network map browsing, local data view, zoom, query, positioning, local data navigation application and so on. Then we completed a functional test on the virtual machine and the real machine.According to the results of the above, the author analyzed the principle of mobile navigation system in detail and recorded the production process in this paper. The second chapter focused on the system description, including the 3-tier architecture analysis of navigation map, the introduction of mobile communication technology, the brief description of GIS, Android system, JAVA, Eclipse and SuperMap. The third chapter described the design of map database, date storage and interaction; the detailed record of function programming process; recorded local data production process: image matching, tailoring, coordinate transforming, etc. The fourth chapter gave a detailed record of function design and programming process, and provided the main function code and screenshot of operating results. The last chapter summarized the thesis work, analyzed results and inadequate, then on the improvement strategies and development direction are discussed.
