Testosterone and progesterone are two important hormones in maintaining the normal physiological function of human body. The concentrations of testosterone and progesterone in the human body are an important effect factor for disease analysis and treatment, while conventional detection methods are generally complex and time-consuming.The cascaded micro-ring resonators(CMRR)sensor based on SOI(Silicon on Insulator)has the advantages of the high sensitivity, label free, smaller size, array integration for multi-parameter lab on chip analysis and manufacture compatibility with the standard complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)process.It has a great potential applications in the many fields including medical diagnosis, drug development, environmental monitoring, food safety and so on.Therefore, the thesis focused on the fabrication of molecularly imprinted polymers CMRR(MIPs-CMRR)biosensor based on SOI,which is sensitive,efficient,low-cost and portable. And the sensor was applied for kinetic measurement of testosterone and progesterone.Firstly, the structure and performance of microring resonator were introduced, and the principle and performance of CMRR based on vernier effect were analyzed. The parameters of an equal FSR(free spectral range)CMRR were simulated. Then, the fabrication process of the chip was briefly described and the chip was integrated with a microfluidic channel testing system. And then, the performance of CMRR was tested by wavelength interrogation and intensity interrogation. The experimental results showed the sensitivity of the CMRR sensor with the equal FSRs was very high. Finally,a MIPs-CMRR biosensor was fabricated by the photo-polymerization method, and the factors affecting sensing performance of MIPs were analyzed. Finally, the MIPs-CMRR sensor was applied for rapid kinetic measurement of progesterone with a high sensitivity. The detection limit is 83.5 fg/mL.
