The emergent accidents in the area where people gather generally occurr suddenly and unpredictably.Besides,they cannot be simulated in the real world by external factors such as the number of people and geographical environment.Therefore,it is the best choice that with computer technology,building virtual scene models and virtual crowd to simulate the crowd in the event of an emergency accident.Virtual crowd simulation technology is an integral part of virtual reality.Using virtual reality technology to imitate crowd behavior can help solve this problem.The paper adopts virtual crowd simulation technology to design and implement a crowd simulation system under emergency evacuation scenarios to simulate crowd evacuation in the event of an emergency safety accident.This article has done the following work,focusing on the design and implementation of simulation system:1.The paper has made a brief analysis of the research background,the source of the research,and the research value and significance of virtual crowd simulation technology and has made a comparative analysis of the research status of the virtual crowd simulation technology at home and abroad,and has elaborated the research content and research scheme of the system.It has made explained the innovation of the system.2.Research on key technologies of virtual crowd simulation technology.There are virtual scene modeling techniques,character movement model creation techniques,improved particle swarm optimization algorithms,and techniques for interacting with geographic information systems(GIS)and three-dimensional virtual simulation systems.The realization of the virtual crowd simulation system mainly includes three-dimensional virtual scene modeling,crowd movement model building,path planning and collision detection,and two-dimensional GIS and three-dimensional interaction.In the 3D virtual scene modeling part,this paper uses the professional modeling software 3ds Max to build the virtual scene model;when constructing the crowd movement model,it adopts the multi-agent based virtual crowd behavior control model;the path selection and the collision detection are based on the improvement.The Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)algorithm uses PSO algorithm to simulate crowd evacuation behavior and path selection behavior in emergency evacuation scenarios.3.Combining with the actual situation,elaborated the requirements of the system.The whole virtual crowd simulation system is briefly introduced,including the experimental scenarios and accident types selected by the system;the system's implementation goals are clearly described;and the system functions are described in detail.4.According to the actual requirements of the simulation system,an agent-based crowd movement simulation study is completed.It mainly includes the construction of agent-based crowd movement model,virtual crowd movement path selection,and crowd collision detection and avoidance.The combination of the agent-based crowd behavior model and the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)not only ensures the maximum authenticity of crowd behavior,but also reduces the computational complexity and reduces the computational load.5.The virtual crowd simulation system implemented in this paper is a two-dimensional GIS and three-dimensional interaction.The relevant data of the crowd movement in the three-dimensional simulation system is calculated through a two-dimensional GIS system.The system simulates the emergency evacuation of the affected people in the event of an emergency security accident by constructing a simulation crowd and combining the interaction techniques of GIS and three-dimensional scenes and the particle swarm optimization algorithm to record the results of the simulation as video preservation.Through the analysis of emergency evacuation results,it provides the basis for making emergency evacuation plans.This paper finally uses Optics Valley Square as the experimental scene,selects a random place where the virtual crowd is placed in the scene,selects the security accident as a fire,simulates the emergency evacuation situation of the disaster-affected people when a fire occurs in Optics Valley Square,completes the experiment and realizes Simulation System.6.It has summarized the research results,and it has forecasted in the future development about the virtual crowd simulation technology.
