Smaller size and more integrated electronic components are more and more demanded by people with the pace of the miniaturization revolution.Most of traditional type of device should not only be redesigned to reduce the size,but also maintain the advantages of the traditional devices.In this thesis,slot antennas based on triangle substrate integrated waveguide(SIW)cavity is redesigned by corrugated substrate integrated waveguide(CSIW).CSIW can be used in all kinds of acrive integrated circuits.CSIW not only maintains the advantages of SIW,such as planarization,but also reduce the cost of fabrication by avoiding metallic via-holes.Besides,quarter-wave stubs in CSIW are not suitable for forming the waveguide wall which is shared by multipe CSIW.It is difficult to design array antenna by using unit antenna.So we pay our attention to directional coupler design.Only a few researches about CSIW circuit compoent designswere done because CSIW is a new technology.A multi-layer CSIW 3dB directional coupler was proposed.This directional coupler realize strong coupling when the most of same type of SIW directional coupler only can realize weak coupling.Last but not least,half-mode corrugated substrate integrated waveguide(HMCSIW)is used to reduce half of the size the directional coupler.And HMCSIW directional coupler has better coupling performance after optimization.
