The increasingly complex processes in many organizations have stimulated the adoption of business process analysis techniques, these techniques often based on process models.Experience shows that the actual process execution log often deviates from the process model. Therefore, check how much the operation process is consistent with the process model for process management.Process improvement and compliance are very important.Artifact-centered business process modeling is a new data-centric modeling method. This paper proposes a method of conformance checking based on Artifact lifecycle. The main research content is:Firstly,ArtiFlow, which is a conceptual model of business process centered on Artifact is given out.The related Artifact subgraph is extracted from the business process model, and the Artifact lifecycle model is established based on Petri net.The Artifact lifecycle model constructed with Petri net can reflect the behavior of Artifact attributes in the flow, and prepare for the conformance checking based on Artifact lifecycle.Secondly,Combine the Petri net model of each log trajectory with Artifact lifecycle model to construct the state space change system map.Based on A* algorithm to find the best alignment of the Artifact instance trajectory in the log and the activity sequence in the model, identify the location where the activity and data deviate, and calculate the activity-attribute correlation. This provides intuitive diagnosis and quantifies the degree of conformance. Finally,a prototype system was implemented to verify the method. The results show that the conformance checking method based on the Artifact lifecycle not only concerns whether the behavior in the model is biased, but also checks whether the change of key data in an actual business process conforms to the Artifact lifecycle defined in the model.A more complete display of deviations between the expected model and the actual execution log provides more accurate conformance metrics. |
