As a new technology, the Internet has brought us highly intelligent and user-friendly search engines to solve mass education problems so that people can communicate more easily and play in the virtual worlds. However, according to Dreyfus, although the Internet researchers have already done a lot of research work, they haven't produced exciting results in the research that made life more fulfilling and happier. The article starts from Dreyfus' s Phenomenology research on examining the limitations of the Internet, and then it profoundly explores and expounds the limitations of the Internet in order to extract the Dreyfus' view of the body and its role in using the internet. The goal of the article is to make a clearer understanding in some specific research fields of the Internet and try to set up a more objective position for the further development of the Internet. This article can be divided into four parts.Firstly, the article briefly introduces the research status, methods, ideas and its significance of the philosophical thinking on the limitations of the Internet.Secondly,it expounds the Dreyfus' four basic sources of the thinking of the Internet philosophy: the Nietzsche's Superman Thought, the Heidegger's Emotional Ontology, the Merleau Ponty's arc of intent and optimization mastery, and the Merleau Ponty's views of body,as well as two research foundations: the artificial intelligence's limits and the skill acquisition model. And then, based on the analysis of Dreyfus about the limitations of the Internet, the article analyzes how does the Internet ignore the existence of the body from the following aspects. From the phenomenological research on the limitation of artificial intelligence,it is analyzed that the meaningless computer symbol in information retrieval replaces the human sense of association with “importance”.The model analyzes that in distance education, due to physical factors such as lack of emotional substitution,it is impossible to achieve a higher level of learning.Non-self-addressed telepresence is lack of interaction overall feeling and effective interactive skills.Non-associated nihilism can lead to unconditional credence and bring risks. The virtual “second life” involved cannot share emotions and cannot give meaning to life.Dreyfus believes that in order to prevent the third decadence of culture,we must stick to our bodies and we can't try to surpass our own bodies. Finally,it analyzes the role of the body in responding to the limitations of the Internet, extracting his own view of the body from the historical view of philosophy and the analysis of Dreyfus' inheritance of the predecessors and the Internet.
