With the popularization of the automation technology,kinds of non-contact rotary sensors are used more and more widely in the industrial automation and automotive intelligent control.The non-contact rotary sensors have the advantage as below: Insulation,Frictionless and nondestructive.There is no effect on the detected object.However,most of the non-contact sensors in the present application have the same shortcomings of the single function: Some sensors can only detect the rotation,some sensor can only detect the angle.One sensor also cannot detect both high speed and low speed.A variety of applications cause to develop special sensors.With the enlargement of the application of the rotary sensor,various non-contact rotary sensors appear.That cause many kinds of sensors which are complex installation and unreliable.Therefore,the research of low cost,high reliability and high accuracy non-contact rotary sensor has very good practical significance.In this paper,the status of similar sensors at home and abroad is analyzed,and then determined the design objectives and performance requirements of the new design rotary sensor.According to the feasibility analysis and design of various requirements,the key circuits of new technologies and devices are designed in detail.Finish the MCU software architecture and related algorithm and communication protocol design.The performance of the multi-purpose non-contact precision rotary designed in this paper as follows:(1)Detect wide range of dynamic speed and detect static angle position.(2)To achieve 0.1 degree resolution with a low cost solution.(3)Using one sensor to realize the functions of detecting rotational speed and angle of various types of non-contact rotary sensors industry and automobiles.(4)There are multiple communication interfaces: CAN bus,USB and RS485,wide working voltage range,so the rotating sensors can be used in many occasions.(5)To solve the hidden danger of failure of the current non-contact sensor loosening or falling from the device,improve reliability.The results of the simulated test data show that this designed non-contact rotating sensor can achieve the purpose and requirements.
