Comparing with the traditional bearings, active magnetic bearings have lots of strongpoints such as non-abrasion, non-lubricate, non-polluting, high-precision, adjustable rotate speed etc. So its research and application was more and more popular in many countries. Nowadays, some kinds of magnetic bearings have been praised in outside country. Our research of magnetic bearings is just on laboratory and has many difficult problems which need us to solve. And the precision measurement of rotor displacement is the one of major issues.In order to resolve the problem, integrated displacement sensor base on DSP(Digital Signal Processor) for magnetic bearings is put forward.Firstly, introduce traditional eddy current displacement sensor and its unconquered problems are emphasis mentioned. Then design the frame of the integrated displacement sensor system and recommend its process of measuring rotor displacement.Secondly, comparatively analyze the characteristic of traditional eddy current displacement sensor and integrated displacement sensor. The theory and the result of experiment indicate that the integrated displacement sensor can solve the difficult problems of traditional displacement sensor perfectly and can satisfy the request of active magnetic bearings.Finally, summarize the whole thesis and prospect the foreground of measuring magnetic bearings rotor displacement.
