As a style of displacement sensor, Eddy Current Displacement Sensor has been widely used in many sections of national economy and social surroundings due to its advantages such as stable performance, no moving part and easy fixing. But traditional Eddy Current displacement sensor can be used only in low pressure. Improving its performance can be beneficial to enhancing the application situations, better satisfying the market requirements and pushing the development of the Eddy Current displacement.The thesis deep analyzed and researched the Eddy Current displacement, utilizing theory analysis, finite element numerical computation and experimental study. A new style high-pressure Eddy Current displacement sensor is put forward. The classification and comparison of displacement sensor is introduced. The development, structure character, working principle, advantage and disadvantage of Eddy Current sensor are discussed particularly. Also a temperature-drift compensation method employing non-inductive coil is also brought forward through theoretical analysis on the causes of temperature drift, both the simulated and experimental results show how we can make the measuring performance and the temperature performance of the sensor better. These can be used for the next research.In chapter 1, based on the research information widely overseas, the classification and comparison of displacement sensor is introduced. The development, structure character, working principle, advantage and disadvantage of Eddy Current sensor are discussed particularly.In chapter 2, by comparing the general inductive and eddy current displacement sensor, a new high pressure eddy current displacement sensor is presented; its performance is deep analyzed using equal electrical circuit, reactance analysis and finite-element analysis, therefore, the internal relations between the electrical and mechanical parameters and the measuring performance are explained. Based on theoretical analysis of temperature drift of the eddy current sensor, a compensation method using non-inductive coil is brought forward.In chapter 3, design the experiment system to get the chart of measuring performance and the temperature performance of the sensor; the experiment results are compared to simulating result and analyzed.In chapter 4, all achievements of the dissertation are summarized and the further...
