Wireless sensor networks for water environment are widely used in water quality monitoring,marine resource exploration,underwater navigation and so on.At present,the research of wireless sensor networks in water environment mainly includes wireless communication,data acquisition,network coverage,node location,etc.In order to ensure the monitoring quality and reliable communication of water environment sensor network,this paper focuses on the optimal coverage technology of wireless sensor network for water environment,based on the monitoring of lake,river and ocean.According to the characteristics of the sensor network in water environment monitoring,the two-dimensional and three-dimensional coverage algorithms of water environment are designed,and the validity and feasibility of the algorithm are verified by simulation analysis.The specific work of this paper includes:In order to solve the problem that coverage holes and overlay redundancy will occur when nodes are deployed randomly,a coverage algorithm based on virtual force is designed.The algorithm adopts dynamic coverage model.First,the sensor nodes are randomly deployed in the monitored waters,and the nodes are non-uniform distributed,and there are blind areas and redundancy.Then,the sensor nodes adjust the optimal position according to the virtual force algorithm.Finally,the algorithm achieves the stable state of the effective coverage of the monitoring area after several iterations,and greatly improves the coverage of the network under the condition of ensuring the network connectivity.The simulation results show that in the two-dimensional monitoring area of 300m×300m,the virtual force algorithm is about 7%?30%higher than the randomly deployed coverage,the network coverage can increase 30%when the number of nodes is 40.According to the random deployment characteristics of three-dimensional sensor network nodes in underwater environment,a coverage algorithm based on vertical sampling is designed to improve the coverage and connectivity of underwater three-dimensional sensor network.Using a network model with limited node mobility,the sensor node position is adjusted by cable,and the node moves only in the vertical direction.The coverage algorithm of underwater three-dimensional sensor network based on vertical sampling firstly samples the three-dimensional monitoring area in vertical plane,and then samples the plane in a straight line,which transforms the coverage problem of three-dimensional space into the optimal problem of linear coverage.From the local to the whole,the goal of optimizing the coverage of the whole three-dimensional network is achieved.The simulation results show that in the 100m×100m×100m three-dimensional monitoring area,the vertical sampling algorithm can increase the coverage by about 4%?28%compared with the three-dimensional random deployment strategy,and the maximum degree of increase is obtained when the number of nodes is 40.To sum up,the virtual force algorithm and vertical sampling technology are introduced into the coverage optimization of wireless sensor network,which can effectively improve the coverage of two-dimensional and three-dimensional water environment wireless sensor networks in the case of minimum node movement.
