Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) is composed by cheap sensor nodes which have wireless communication capacity. These nodes composed networks by self organizing,collecting all kinds of data sending it to the management nodes. WSN has features such as a rapid expansion, high robustness and survivability. Accordingly, it is generally applied in military monitoring, forest fire monitoring and warning,intelligent residing, and many other fields. Owing to the enormous quantity of sensor nodes in WSN, the nodes energy and the processing ability is limited. Therefore, the coverage and positioning technology of nodes becomes the heated researching field.This paper does related research as follows based on analyzing the studying the two key technologies.1. According to the problem which the parse WSN coverage is extremely low and the networks are usually only to meet dynamic coverage, this paper puts forward the regional coverage algorithm based on the entire mobile area. The algorithm uses the idea of virtual force to arrange the nodes, divide the workspace and plan the moving tracks on the basis of isoperimetric inequality to reduce the mobile distance and the overlapping coverage area. Simulation results prove that the algorithm can reduce the energy consumption of perception.2. In order to reduce the influence of ranging error based on the Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI) to the positioning accuracy of wireless sensor nodes. We proposes a weighted function localization algorithm based on RSSI. The algorithm takes the average error of the algorithm as the error coefficient to narrow the scope of the unknown feasible nodes region when functioning on the constraint conditions. The algorithm uses the weighted factors acting on the weighted objective function to accelerate its speed to gain the feasible solution.In conclusion, the algorithm uses the virtual force model to construct workspace for each node and the moving track according to the isoperimetric theorem. Nodes can effectively solve the problems of high energy consumption and low coverage according to the moving orbit. The algorithm improves the RSSI node localizationand increase the accuracy of node localization by putting forward the new constraints and objective function.
