In recent years,the directional sensor network has been widely applied in important fields such as industry and agriculture,environmental monitoring,and military,which thanks to that sensors such as video sensors,ultrasonic sensors can effectively collect and process multimedia information such as images,video,and audio.The guarantee of the coverage quality of the sensor network is a necessary prerequisite for the development of related work.In a directed sensor network,a reasonable coverage control strategy determines the quality of network coverage.A certain number of directed sensor nodes are distributed in the network,and only if the sensor nodes have a valid sense of the monitoring target or the monitoring area can the integrity and validity of the information obtained by the nodes be ensured.In the existing research on directional sensor network coverage control methods,the virtual force is the most outstanding method model in recent years.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the virtual force algorithm and correct it accordingly to improve the performance of directional sensor monitoring.This paper is based on the research idea of the previous virtual force algorithm and proposes an optimization algorithm to improve the virtual force for some unreasonable and incomplete algorithm models.This paper focuses on a series of issues such as coverage of sensor area,node energy consumption balancing strategy,target moving path coverage,etc.The main research work and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.Researched the perceptual characteristics of the rotatable directional sensor model,relied on the coverage optimization method of the virtual potential field,and designed an improved virtual force based on the situation that the virtual force idea was apt to fall into the local suboptimal solution and the existence of unreasonable repulsion.The regional coverage optimization algorithm improves the coverage of the monitoring area by adding corrective indicators to the virtual force.A series of simulation experiments verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm.2.Analyze the energy consumption problem of the sensor node,define the energy consumption index model of the node,let the node judge and modify the virtual force according to its own residual energy,balance the relationship between the rotation angle and the energy consumption,and ensure the network coverage quality,Maximize the balance of node energy and reduce network energy consumption,and extend the network coverage control time.3.Aiming at the problem of moving target path coverage,the characteristics of the target moving path are analyzed.Based on the path trajectory point,a gravitational potential field enhanced target path coverage strategy is designed.Priority is given to covering important trajectory points,and the inter-node repulsive force is corrected with common trajectory point coverage to increase the overall coverage of the target path.4.Apply the virtual force corrected directional sensor network coverage algorithm to the remote monitoring system of the small hydropower plant area,and use the C/S architecture to implement a series of functions such as plant area monitoring,intrusion warning,energy saving management,and decision management.This paper focuses on the research of directional sensor coverage control algorithm based on virtual force,and according to its unreasonable imperfections,improves the virtual force,expands the area coverage research,joins the node energy consumption balance consideration,and optimizes the efficient coverage strategy of the target path.
