With the rapid development of communication networks,the bandwidth requirements of users for network communication are getting higher and higher.Millimeter-wave does not produce much extra fading in the atmosphere.At the same time,due to its rich spectrum resources,these excellent characteristics can meet the needs of users and significantly increase the network bandwidth rate.The future of millimeter-wave communication is very clear.Due to the dense population and the large demand of user communication,in order to make full use of the existing spectrum resources,outdoor microcell base station communication is adopted.Outdoor microcellcoverage can accurately predict the characteristics of radio waves for mobile communication microcell wireless network planning and design provided the necessary conditions.This article is based on the SBR / IM algorithm for outdoor micro-cell environment modeling and simulation.This thesis was studied the propagation characteristics of outdoor millimeter-wave radio waves in three typical scenarios: campus environment,residential area and business office district.The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1.The research background and significance of millimeter wave in outdoor microcell environment are summarized.Clarify the research status of outdoor millimeter wave and outdoor propagation mode and base station communication.The theory of wireless propagation mechanism in outdoor scenario and the prediction model of microcell are described.The measurement system and measurement process isdescribed in detail.2.Based on the SBR / IM method to realize the outdoor radio propagation prediction software algorithm simulation,the radio propagation characteristics of outdoor microcell environment are analyzed.At the same time,the modules of the ray tracing model algorithm are analyzed,and the principle of each module in the algorithm is elaborated.Finally,the parameters of the prediction algorithm of the outdoor radio wave propagation characteristics are calculated,and the actual measurement environment modeling and simulation based on the reference is used to verify the method in this thesis.3.First of all,a typical scenario is selected as a campus scenario in a microcell environment.The outdoor microcell scenario is characterized by wide vegetation coverage,tall trees,less dense buildings and larger spacing.Through the use of modeling and simulation,the radio propagation characteristics of the millimeter-wave 39 GHz band was analysed in terms of received power,vegetation coverage on received power,path loss and delay spread.4.Based on the actual measurement and computer simulation,a typical residential district has been analyzed.The characteristics of the residential area are the average height and spacing of buildings which are higher than the campus environment,the vegetation is dominated by the lawn-based low height.The received power and delay spread of residential area under the condition of line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight environment were measured.Then,the correctness of simulation value and measured value was simulated by software simulation.5.The business office district in the microcell environment is modeled through computer simulation.In this scenario,the height of the building is high,the vegetation coverage is small,the distance between the buildings is small and the city canyon is formed,and the long path delay may be caused by the rows of buildings.The simulation data and the literature data are compared,the validity is verified.Based on the simulation,the propagation characteristics of millimeter waves at 25 GHz,39GHz and 60 GHz were compared and analyzed.The influence of vegetation coverage on the propagation characteristics at different antenna heights was analyzed.
