In the future society, mobile data will show explosive growth. With the birth of new application scenarios, the emergence of various new business requirements, and the continuous birth of mobile devices and IoT devices, the fifth-generation mobile communication system was born.5G will be flooded in all aspects of life as 4G.In view of the spectrum scarcity in the5th generation mobile communication system, the propagation characteristics of the high frequency wireless signals of 4.5GHz,28GHz and 39GHz in the 3.5GHz frequency band and the candidate for the 5th generation mobile communication have been studied in this paper. The analysis results are of great significance to the planning of 5G networks. In this paper,a narrowband measurement method based on CW continuous wave is selected by investigating the measurement method of wireless signal propagation characteristics, considering the selection of instruments, the complexity of measurement and other factors.A measurement system with low cost, high implementability and strong scene adaptability is designed.Key Measurement Studies Dozens of Tbps/k8)~2 Office space with traffic density, dense residential Gbps user experience rates,ultra-high user density commercial plazas defined requirements in the White Paper 5G,and Japan's proposed Central Business District(CBD)scenario.Taking the loss of the signal when traveling in free space as a reference, all the measured data were fitted and analyzed using the CI model based on the reference distance and the FI model based on the floating intercept. The fitting parameters of the two models in each scene are given in tabular form, including path loss index PLE,shadow fading variance and floating intercept. The differences between the measured loss model and the 3GPP36.900 loss model are also compared. In this paper, the model itself, the transmitter height, the scene of the difference, comparative analysis of specificity and laboratory verification, reliability conclusions are given.Based on all the data analysis,a summary of the high and low frequency wireless signal propagation models is as follows:(1)The propagation of high-frequency wireless signals is more influenced by the environment and shows an increase of loss as the frequency increases.(2)The appropriate increase of the transmitter height can improve the coverage of the base station signal.(3)CBD scene with transmitter height above 100 meters has smaller PLE.(4)3GPP 38.900 high frequency loss model does not apply our specific environment.(5)high-frequency signals in a unique environment prone to urban canyon effect.
