TWS radar is widely used in modern equipment systems because of its track-while-scan characteristics.Since there is relative motion between the target and the antenna,the time interval for the antenna to revisit the target cannot simp ly be assumed to be the antenna scanning period.The uncertainty of the revisiting interval and the mismatch of the target revisiting time and revisiting interval model become a significant problem for TWS Radar.In order to improve the tracking performanc e of TWS radar,this paper focuses on the issue of uncertainty in revisiting interval and model mismatch in TWS radar.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)TWS radar space-time data joint simulation method.In previous simulation experiments,simulation data was generated based on the constant revisiting interval of the target,and usually set its value to the antenna scanning period.However,when dealing with TWS radar tracking problems,this method of generating analog data does not meet the actual situation,especially when tracking high-speed motion targets.In order to produce simulation data that accords with the actual situation,this paper starts with the relationship between the target motion angle and the antenna movement angle,and uses the iterative method to calculate the target revisiting interval.The simulation experiment proves the correctness of the revisiting interval.The difference between the revisiting interval and the antenna scanning period is more obvious,when the TWS radar with low scan rate tracks the target of high-speed motion.(2)TWS radar multi-target tracking method.Mismatch on the assuming model,causes all the simulations performed by the traditional TWS radar on the basis of the revisiting interval equal to the antenna scanning period,such as one-step prediction,gate prediction,etc.are all biased,which led to the unreliability of the final tracking results.In order to improve the multi-target tracking performance of TWS radar,this paper proposes two methods to estimate the revisiting interval,one is to recalculate the revisit interval using the measurement time within the validation gate,and the other is based on the relationship between the relative motion of the target and the antenna,iteratively predicting the revisiting interval.The simulation results show that both algorithms have improved performance compared to the traditional tracking algorithm.A complete solution to the joint space-time forecasting,measurement to target correlation,and estimation is given.(3)Tracking methods with time measurement.Introduce time measurement in LMIPDA algorithm,use one-dimensional time measurement to distinguish clutter observations in validation gate,and correct the track quality to improve the recognition ability of true targets and false track elimination ability,and finally in the filtering process,introduce time measurement in order to improve the accuracy of state estimation and comprehensively improve tracking performance.Simulation experiments show that the tracking method with time measurement not only improves the accuracy of the position information and time information,but also improves the confirmation speed of the real tracks.At the same time,it greatly enhances the ability of removing false track and obtains good multi-target tracking capabilities in the clutter environment.
