With the constant innovation of mobile terminals,the hardware and software are sufficient to support more functions.The AR technology based on mobile devices will gradually be widely used in industries,education,tourism and other industries.The main work of this thesis is shown as follows:(1)Contrast to the traditional e-book development,we does not need to use QR code,but only needs Chinese characters to complete the information superposition.This thesis discusses the preprocessing of video streaming images used in unmarked augmented reality e-books,camera calibration,overlay of virtual information,and fusion and display of real scenes and virtual information.(2)Image processing such as graying,noise elimination,binarization,etc.is realized,designing an augmented reality e-book system framework.(3)When character feature extraction is performed,the traditional local binary pattern data has a large dimension,which is unfavorable both for texture extraction and for texture recognition,classification,and information access.In the feature extraction of Chinese characters,this improves the traditional local binary pattern and adopts the uniform mode to improve the efficiency of feature extraction.(4)Make 3D models on SketchUp and import it into Unity 3D.Unity 3D is used to build the development environment.The process of the dissertation is as follows: First,the system captures the video stream from the camera of the Epson BT-350 glasses;then the Vuforia development kit detects and tracks the target Chinese characters,and calls the bound 3D image to complete the superposition.The final function is to browse the Chinese characters in the training library by wearing glasses.After successful matching,the corresponding three-dimensional model of the character is superimposed to help beginners better understand the meaning of the characters.Through experimental verification,under the condition of good lighting and normal viewing angle,the camera displays 25 frames per second on average,and the accuracy of Chinese character recognition is above95%.The recognition time of each character is about 32 ms.The accuracy of the model is up to 98%.When using the augmented reality glasses to watch the e-books designed in this thesis,the recognition rate is stable at about 93%.With the continuous advancement of AR technology,the application designed in this thesis can be applied to more scenarios.
