With the continuousdevelopment of society,people are increasingly demanding navigation.However,the current navigation systems on mobile phones provide navigation services using vector data,and failure to give full play to characteristics such as multi-sensors on smart phones,causing poor user experience.With the help of technologies for Android mobile sensor,location service,image recognitionand OpenGL ES,this paper designs and implements an augmented reality navigation system based on Android platform,which allows users to see superimposed virtual navigation information in the real world and improve user interaction.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)For the augmented reality technology based on mobile phone sensor,firstly,a POI display method based on sensor mobile augmented reality technology is studied and proposed,which solves the problem of real-time computation of the mapping of augmented reality graphics on the screen View coordinate system;Secondly,the mapping algorithm of the navigation indicator arrow in the Open GL ES 3D coordinate system is designed,solving the problem of real-time rendering navigation indicator arrow based on navigation data provided by Baidu map API.(2)For the problem of building identification,in order to improve the recognition efficiency,this paper researches and experiments the commonly used image recognition algorithms,and selects the ORB algorithm suitable for the system as the core algorithm of building recognition.Through the location information,we can get the buildings to be identifiedaround the user,narrow thematching range,and improve the efficiency of building recognition.Based on the above two technologies,an augmented reality navigation system based on the Android platform is implemented and applied to the campus navigation of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology.Finally,the function and performance of the system are tested,achieving good application results.
