The overloading and gauge-exceeding of trucks not only severely damages the highway infrastructure,but also brings serious hazards to highways and bridges,reduces the service life of highways,threatens traffic safety,and easily causes traffic accidents.In order to effectively suppress the occurrence of such phenomena,the overloading and gauge-exceeding detection of trucks have been widely used at important checkpoints of highways and national highways.However,the detection of gauge-exceeding trucks is still at an early stage of development due to technical defects.Therefore,the analysis mechanism of multiple detection technologies is analyzed,a reasonable dynamic measurement scheme is designed,and system software and hardware are developed to realize real-time,dynamic,non-contact measurement of the dimensions of the truck's external dimensions,and to promote the development of gauge-exceeding detection technology for ETC systems.The following works are carried out:(1)Studied the machine vision and infrared laser sensor technology,and constructed the extreme value measurement scheme of the truck.(2)Research the panoramic image mosaic technology of the truck body and the image size measurement model of the image plane body based on the binocular vision technology,which is riming at the problems that cannot be measured with traditional detection methods for large and long trucks.(3)Based on the research results of(1)and(2),the hardware and software subsystem is designed and implemented,which is for the track outline extremum detection.Then the related experimental tests has been carried out to verify the accuracy of the track's external profile extreme value detection system,and analyze the main factors affecting the system precision.
