In recent years, with the development of digital circuits, sensor technologies, wireless communication technologies, and microelectronics technologies, wireless sensor network technology has emerged. The wireless sensor network adopts the battery to supply power under normal circumstances, can't supplement the energy in time under normal circumstances,so the energy utilization is very important in the wireless sensor network,it has influenced the service life of the whole network.Energy consumption and energy utilization of wireless sensor networks have become the main research direction of many scholars.Wireless sensor network routing protocols can effectively reduce network energy consumption, extend the life cycle of the entire network, and increase the amount of data collected.First of all,the issues, research significance, research status at home and abroad, network characteristics, key technologies, and application fields faced by the wireless sensor network research institute are analyzed and summarized. Then analyzes the characteristics of the classic plane routing protocol and clustering routing protocol, and summarizes the advantages and problems faced by each routing protocol.Mainly analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the classic clustering routing protocol low-power adaptive clustering layering protocol in the implementation process. Then, the disadvantages such as unbalanced energy consumption of each node in LEACH protocol, the randomness of the cluster size, and the single-hop transmission between the clusters are improved.Based on LEACH algorithm,a new LEACH-G(LEACH-Grid)algorithm is proposed.Firstly, the whole monitoring area is divided into several small areas by the method of virtual grid division. The selected cluster head in each monitoring area is the node with the smallest energy consumption ratio in the area. The collected data is transmitted from the cluster head to the base station in a multi-hop manner, and the Dijkstra algorithm is improved. The weights of the improved algorithm combine the remaining energy of the node, the distance between the nodes, and the energyconsumption formula of the wireless communication.A reasonable inter-cluster transmission path is planned and the data is transmitted from the monitoring area to the Sink node in a multi-hop manner through an improved path planned by the algorithm.Using MATLAB simulation software to simulate the improved protocol, the simulation mainly includes three aspects: the life cycle of the network, the total amount of data received by the base station, and the average residual energy of each node. The simulation shows that the improved algorithm effectively balances the energy consumption of the network, the stability period of the network is extended, the service life of the node is prolonged, and the amount of data received by the Sink node is increased. Finally,in order to balance the energy consumption in the network and save the energy of the nodes,a random routing protocol based on energy and angle is proposed. The parameters of the node are: current energy, offset angle, distance, and wireless communication energy consumption.According to the energy consumption formula, the minimum number of hops for information transmission can be selected to save the energy of the node.Through MATLAB simulation,it shows that it can effectively balance the energy consumption of each node of the network, effectively enhance the energy efficiency of the node, and extend the stability period and life cycle of the network.
