With the accelerating rhythm of life,customers pursue the more convenient way of ordering.For instance,with the help of self-order service on mobile phone.Users can freely choose the delicious dishes according to their tastes.According to the number of people who are waiting for meals,users can arrange their time reasonably to avoid wasting time.From the restaurant's point of view,waiters can use the self-service ordering application to get the consumers' order and their table number.On the one hand,it helps to avoid the possibility of manual input errors;on the other hand,waiters can get the number of available seats and the user's dining progress.What's more,the restaurant managers can recommend the meals according to the history records of consumers' orders,and make advance procurement.Restaurants can make reasonable schedules for orders,so that reduce cooking time and improve customer satisfaction.This research is started with the actual needs of a restaurant in Shenyang and it is also based on some investments related the operating.The whole system consists of user client and management client.The user client is responsible for registration,food retrieval and recommendation,and preference analysis and ordering.This Paper proposes a food recommendation algorithm so that the client can make a recommendation scientifically and rationally according to customers' preference and the similarity of dishes.The restaurant can be regarded as a queuing system for multi-client and multi-service desks which is used to predict the time of dining customers and supports the waiting customers to make a reasonable choice about dining time.The kitchen management system proposes food processing scheduling algorithm so that shortens the customers' meal time and improves customers' satisfaction.The whole system is divided into customer ordering system and restaurant management end.The customer ordering system mainly achieves the functions of login,menu querying,order expediting,and payment.The management end mainly includes order management,menu management,and user management.The system is developed based on Java Script,Ajax,and Android technology.The system uses MySQL database for data storage.The system mainly completes the function of self-ordering during the core business processes and the system has also been through the demands analysis,functions design,implement and functional tests.
