A Comparative Study On Narrative Tendency Of Thaad Incident Reporting From The Perspective Of Framing Theory

In June 2016,South Korea's deployment of “THAAD” triggered tensions between China and South Korea.From the perspective of framing theory,this article conducts a detailed analysis of the specific texts in the” THAAD” reports of the people's network and the Chinese web of Joongang newspaper of Korea to explore different countries ' policies and positions for the same incident whether the mainstream media report has policy relevance and reporting tendency,the reason of the tendency difference and how to present the tendency in the report.In terms of content,people's network reports are relatively peaceful,rational and always complementary to their own policies and positions,while South Korea's deployment of "THAAD" has undergone some policy changes.Driven by policies and positions,the Chinese web of Joongang newspaper of Korea used words with obvious emotional color in news reports many times during the "THAAD" deployment.The tendency of the report has changed from negative to positive.From the point of view of presentation,in the aspect of reporting mode people's net starts from the overall situation and pays attention to the pluralism of speech,while the "national interest" reporting mode the Chinese web of Joongang newspaper is obvious.In terms of the source of the report,the people's Daily has a relatively lively source.The people's net report is peaceful and serious,and the Chinese website has used words with obvious negative feelings in the report several times.The author analyzes the political and economic factors,the cultural factors and the ideological factors of the media analyze why the two websites report the” THAAD” incident in different tendencies,and fully verify the above conclusions.
