In the era of mobile Internet,the continuous expansion of the scale of mobile Internet users,the continuous improvement of the mobile communication network environment,the development of video consumption habits of users in social applications,and the application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence to practical applications have spawned the hot scene of social short video applications in 2017.In 2016,a large number of mobile short video applications were intensively introduced,the capital market continued to heat up,the entrepreneurs of short video content broke out,and the short video industry ushered in a period of rapid development.In 2017,it was known as the "short video first year." The rapid development of social short video applications has also created a series of issues that need urgent research and solutions.For the government,supervision,governance,and the introduction of short video,an emerging Internet industry,have become management problems in the new era.These are closely related to the transmission mechanism of social short video.The domestic short video application first appeared in 2012,but the short video tools of that time were of obvious attributes and focused on the production and editing functions.With the maturity of the tool attributes and the need for competition,tool-based short videos have begun to evolve toward the information and social platform.Social short videos have started to differentiate themselves from short videos as an independent category.This article clearly defines short video,short video classification,and social short video,and details the development of social short video applications.Through qualitative analysis method,literature research method and case analysis method,using “Kwaishou”,“Meipai” and “Douyin” as examples,we analyzed the mode and effect of communication of social short video applications.Then Effect optimization suggestions were given.All these provide theoretical support for the development of the social short video industry and help the government to effectively control the short video,an emerging form of the Internet,and thus realize the healthy and orderly development of the domestic short video industry.
