3D printing technology is in rapid development,various new technologies and new materials emerge in an endless stream,color 3D printing technology is widely used in education,medical,entertainment and other industries.The international standard organization puts forward the AMF file format to deal with the new technological data challenges in the 3D printing field.The format contains new information such as color and material that STL does not have,so as to support data requirements for color 3D printing and other technologies.In the color 3D print interface file,besides the common file format PLY,VRML,3D System,Stratasys and other companies have custom file format.These file formats can represent surface color 3D models,but because of limited information,or compatibility with existing STL formats,they are not popular.In order to meet the needs of data processing in color 3D printing and promote the development of color 3D printing technology,it is necessary to study the surface model of 3D printing file interchange format AMF color slicing algorithm.This study analyzed the traditional single material,single color 3D printing technology and the slice data structure of color 3D printing,and made a detailed definition for the slice data structure of the surface color model,and put forward the concept of surface color thickness.In order to solve the efficiency problem of the existing surface color AMF model slicing algorithm,a fast slicing algorithm is proposed to obtain the color slice map and two-dimensional contour information.The AMF file format is introduced in detail,and the color slice algorithm is given.The surface color AMF model forms the color surface through the texture,the vertex color and the surface color on its triangular face.First,the model is transformed into three triangular prism surface,so as to form thick surface color regions,so ensure the color quality of the model surface during color slicing;Next,by the given topology of grid AMF model,rebuild the face-edge relationship of topological structure,thus completing the contour slicing.According to the 3 kinds of AMF triangle color coordinate formula is derived by the method of color information,and calculate the X color information to coordinate adjacent scan lines of pixels using incremental method;Last,calculate the bitmap of slice contours by scan line filling algorithm,and render the pixels in the surface color area.The experimental results show that the algorithm significantly improves the efficiency of the algorithm compared with the algorithm given by the AMF.
