Three dimension(3D) measurement is a kind of measurement that is used to abtain the size and figure of an object. Compared to the traditional two dimension measurement, three dimension measurement can record more information of an object, and can rebuilt the object more actually and completely. In recent years, the science and technology have won continual progress, the computer science is growing rapidly, and the technology of signal auto-process is going to mature, especially the appearance of the high resolution CCD and digital camera, all of those provide good software and hardware support to the 3D measurement.In this paper, the author discusses the history and actuality of 3D measurement, and summarizes a few of methods of 3D measurement that are equipped with obvious features and effects. Then we give the shortcoming and excellence of each of the method according to the examples. Pick up the effective aspect of each method and apply the modern advanced technology, the author provides an effective 3D measurement method.We commence improving the measurement precision and condensing the time of the experiment, then we carries out 3D measurement based on Color-coded Plane Structured-light to avoid the main problem of low efficiency beared by point-coded or line-coded structured-light. At the same time, it's convenient to select structured-light according to the real size and color of some object. Then comes the result of the method,that is, rationality and feasibility.
