The Study Of The Interdisciplinary Knowledge Service Modes In College Libraries

In order to achieve the passing on of knowledge,the integrated knowledge is artificially divided.As a result,human's knowledge activities are more and more limited to the specific subject areas.With the development of society,the increasingly complex issues can't be solved by single subject knowledge,therefore,interdisciplinary activities are gradually produced,the interdisciplinary research and teaching activities generated in the university environment are the first.In the face of the impact of the network environment on the existing knowledge service mode,as a knowledge service institution of colleges,the library needs to grasp the interdisciplinary opportunities,and makes use of its own knowledge advantages to propose innovative service modes.Thus the library can find out its own innovative value on the basis of meeting the changing knowledge needs of users.In this paper,we mainly discussed the formal features and knowledge features of the interdisciplinary activities in university environment.Then,combining with the nature of library work,we constructed an interdisciplinary knowledge service mode of college libraries to explore the knowledge service innovations in the interdisciplinary environment.The full text is divided into seven parts:The first part outlined the topic background,research significance,research purposes,research methods,as well as research innovations of the article;The second part discussed the basic theory and research status at home and abroad of interdisciplinary knowledge services;The third part is the analysis of the operation characteristics of interdisciplinary activities in colleges.First,this section discussed the origin and motivation of interdisciplinary activities.Then,this section explored the formal features and the mechanism of interdisciplinary knowledge innovation of interdisciplinary activities in colleges.These are the fundamentals for building an interdisciplinary service mode for libraries;The fourth and the fifth part are the core parts of this article.First,the service concepts structure were proposed which includes the concepts of “Knowledge as a whole”,“Knowledge Innovation”,“Knowledge Sharing”,“Shaping Users” and “Collaborative Innovation” based on the operation characteristics of interdisciplinary activities in colleges.Then,guided by the service concepts,the service practice modes were proposed which includes a personalized knowledge service mode that focuses on the integration of multidisciplinary knowledge,an environment-oriented service mode that focuses on the interdisciplinary knowledge exchange,and a team-embedded service mode that focuses on the interdisciplinary and collaborative innovation;The sixth part,the conclusion part,summarized the main research achievements,the research insufficiency and the further study direction.
