Text is one of the main methods of expression and communication of information.The key words can represent text theme and the main content in the English text,and the method of key words describe text is of a kind of effective way in the text visualization.Analyzing and improving existing visualization technology,researching effective new visualization technology,integrating visualization and other interactive technologies and evaluating visualization tools are important topics in the field of visualization.The focus of this paper is researching the measurement model of tag cloud visualization technology applied to text in order to improve the application effect of visualization technology.According to the principle and characteristics of the tag cloud visualization technology applied to text,the main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)According to the principle and characteristics of the tag cloud visualization technology applied to the English text,it put forward five metric indicators for the visualization result of tag cloud,and establish three-level hierarchical measurement model according to the extracted indicators.Secondary indicator for measurement are mainly included the data scale,cognitive complexity,visual effect and performance,among them,the data scale contains the three-level indicator of word density,cognitive complexity contains the three-level indicator of word square degree and direction recognition,visual effect and performance contains the three-level indicator of ration of color and space utilization.According to the characteristics of the hierarchical model,this paper use fuzzy hierarchical analysis method to establish the weight of indicators at all levels and overall ranking levels.(2)Based on the indicators of tag cloud visualization results,this paper design and implement the word frequency calculation algorithm for English text,word filtering algorithm based on word frequency,word filtering algorithm based on stop words and word length,visual tag collision detection algorithm,and single text and multi-text processing algorithm based on word frequency and so on.(3)This paper design and implement tag cloud visual indicator calculation applied to English text and then nondimensionalize the indicators,and gain the total score of the text visualization by using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process.By mutidimensional analyzing the tag cloud visualization results that involve the content of the relevant domain,this paper validates the effective ness of the measurement model in measuring visual application effectiveness.Experimental analysis show that the indicator values presented in this paper have a certain correlation between text information and its tag cloud visualization results.For example,as the word density increases,the total score which measure visual effect will decrease.When the ration of color and direction recognition is increased in a certain range,the corresponding general evaluation branch will be improved,and it will tend to be stable over a certain range.The relevant work results show that the completed work has some practical reference value in measuring the visual effect on the tag cloud applied to the English text.
