Measurement automation terminal is an important equipment to collect users' electricity information,and play an important role in measurement automation system.The communication performance of measurement automation terminal is tightly associated with the normal operation of measurement automation system and the reliability of the collection of the user's electricity information.Low-voltage power line carrier communication is widely used in the low-voltage meter reading system because of a series of advantages,such as width covered scope,no need to lay new cable and low cost.Micro power wireless communication has been recognized and spread by the public because of the low power dissipation,high transmit rate,de-contralized and ad-hot network.But there are few research literature about the communication performance of the two communication mode.Some measurement automation terminal installed in the field have low success rate of meter reading,or even can't work.So the study of the communication performance is of great significance.This paper mainly studies the communication performance test of power line carrier and micro power wireless:1)Designing of low-voltage power line carrier communication performance test system.First,the composition of the test system and the function of the equipment are analysed.Second,communication performance index is designed and the principle of the performance index is provided.Last,the terminal using different power line carrier chips is tested,statistical analysis is performed on the test data and the conclusion is provided.2)Designing of micro power wireless communication performance test system.First,the component of the test system and function of the main device are analysed.Then,the RF performance test and the protocol conformance test are discussed to acquire the communication performance index,and the principle of the performance index and the procedure are analysed.Last,the relevant test is conducted according to the specific steps.The test data is analysed and compared with the criterion.Ultimately,measurement automation terminal communication performance test system is designed,and the communication performance test of the measurement automation terminal is accomplished in this paper.
