As the fast development of digital information technology,the traditional mode of combat can not meet the needs of modern battlefield.The modern battlefield is mainly information warfare,which is inclined to master more battlefield information,and the type of data that needs to be transmitted is also increasing.VHF radio,as the main communication equipment has many advantages in tactical communication system,such as wide communication band,long transmission distance and strong anti-interference ability.However,the function of ultra short wave radio is relatively simple,the main function is limited to voice calls and simple data transmission,can not describe the battlefield situation well.The main object of this paper is the design and implementation of ultrashort wave radio wireless video transmission,the key work is to complete the real-time image acquisition,compression coding,wireless transmission and playback.This paper designs and implements a real-time video transmission system using Android mobile phone as the client and ultrashort wave radio as the hardware platform of the system.The system mainly includes video acquisition,compression coding,network transmission and decoding playback module.The system uses the Android mobile phone comes with the camera as the acquisition terminal to obtain real-time video streaming data through H.264 compression encoding,and then according to the various protocol data package through Wi Fi sent to the sender station issued radio will receive data through the radio frequency signal is transmitted to the receiver station,the station finally through real-time decoding of Wi Fi sent to the PC computer terminal PC software play.After continuous program modification and experimental debugging,the corresponding software design and hardware design of wireless video transmission system are completed.Finally,the system can achieve the basic functions of video transmission,and the transmission process is basically smooth,and achieved the desired results.This paper has the following innovation points:(1)The data transmission rate of VHF radio is limited,so the traditional VHF radio only consider the transmission of voice signals and simple text,this paper tries to use Android mobile phone and VHF radio combination,pass rate limited case number of video transmission on the radio.(2)In the coding module of Android video transmission,most of the applications are used in soft coding,that is,the underlying C++ code is called through the JNI technology.This article attempts to implement in a hard coded way,that is,completely implemented in the Java layer and not on the Native layer.(3)Transplantation of Wi Fi module on ultra short wave radio.Android terminal and ultra short wave radio can realize data flow docking through Wi Fi module,and send specific instruction information through mobile phone to ultra short wave radio.
