As the blast furnace smelting tends to become giant and intelligent,the requirements for the charging structure of blast furnace smelting become more and more strict,and the standardization of the charging structure becomes the key to ensure the smelting quality.Iron ore pellet is an important charge in ironmaking blast furnace.Practice shows that pellet has many advantages,such as high strength,regular appearance,uniform grain size and high grade of iron.Because of its effect on improving the production and energy saving of blast furnace,improving the economic index of ironmaking process,saving the production cost and improving the economic benefit,etc.So fundamentally speaking,the quality of pellets affects the effect of ironmaking.In this paper,the principle and function of each stage of the production process of grate machine and rotary kiln are discussed in detail,and the intelligent control system of chain grate and rotary kiln pellets was developed by combining the process characteristics of chain grate and rotary kiln pellets.The design system uses a modular design ideas,using Siemens PLC as the next crew to control the field equipment,and use STEP7 to program the system,to achieve the drying preheating,roasting and cooling and other production links control.The system's host computer uses Siemens configuration software WICC 7.0 for system integration,designed the configuration screen,to monitor the system running status,dynamic process flow chart and process parameters and process parameters of the more limited sound,light alarm,etc.To achieve friendly interaction and operation of man-machine.The communication between the upper computer and the lower computer(PLC)is connected by industrial Ethernet,while the communication between the lower computer PLC and the field equipment is connected by PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus.The system is conducive to reducing industrial production on environmental pollution,is conducive to energy saving and sustainable development,Is conducive to improving the production and quality of sintered pellet products,improve the level of control of the process,is expected to promote the industry's technological progress.
