Achieving higher data transmission is the main driving force of communication technology,which leads to the research on the reuse technology,including frequency division multiplexing,time division multiplexing,code division multiplexing and air division multiplexing.In recent years,research on OAM and its inter-modal orthogonality has been a hot topic.A typical method for increasing transmission capacity in optical communication systems is multiplexed independent data channels.For example,multiple independent data channels can be located in different polarization,wavelength,or space channel,correspond to the polarization division multiplexing(PDM),wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)and space division multiplexing(SDM).A special case of SDM is the use of orthogonal space overlap and mixed propagation space mode,called pattern segmentation multiplexing(MDM).In this case,each pattern can have an independent data channel,and orthogonality can achieve efficient multiplexing(demultiplexing)and low inter-mode crosstalk in multiple modes.Orbital Angular Momentum(OAM)is a typical example of space division multiplexing.This new multiplexing technique may improve spectrum efficiency from a new dimension,thereby increasing the transmission capacity of the same band.OAM can be interpreted as the torsion of the spiral phase wavefront.Based on this special structure,the OAM beam can be quantified into different states,and they are propagated vertically along the same axis.This feature has potential application value in improving the performance of optical communication system.Firstly,this paper introduces the significance of research and the status of orbital angular momentum.On the analysis of the orbital angular momentum and basic principle of producing way,using the phased array principle proposed the triangle and the pentagon which can produce the OAM wave antenna array,and carries on the simulation analysis of the two kinds of antenna,the result demonstrates the two antenna can create the OAM beam.Then two improvement methods are proposed for the drawback of microstrip antenna.Using the method of uniform circular array which can produce orbital angular momentum,circular polarization microstrip antenna,microstrip antenna,spread spectrum technology and related theory of microstrip feed technology,puts forward a new kind of curve type of microstrip patch antenna.In this paper,a kind of antenna with a number of OAM mode with feed network is designed,and several uniform circular array antennas that can generate OAM beam are compared to verify the advantages of the curved antenna.In order to produce OAM,a unique form of feed network is proposed,and the performance of OAM beam can be improved.Then,through MATLAB simulation of OAM communication process,it is verified that the OAM technology can improve the communication capacity and error rate.Finally,on the basis of summarizing the thesis,this paper puts forward a detailed improvement plan for the problems existing in this paper and plans for the next step.The work is as follows:1)Summarized the status quo of orbital angular momentum technology research and the basic principles and generation methods of OAM.In this paper,several mainstream methods for producing OAM wave are introduced,and their advantages and disadvantages are compared.2)based on planar microstrip circuit to produce the OAM method,this paper studied the rectangular patch antenna array in the array element position affect the OAM,proposes two new antenna and put forward two methods of improving bandwidth or axis than.3)Simulation of a curved microstrip antenna that can significantly increase bandwidth.By using uniform circular array(UCA)technology,a curved antenna array with OAM beam can be produced,and its characteristics are simulated,and the advantages and disadvantages of several OAM antenna performances are compared.4)by using Smith chart of ADS software for impedance matching,design a model number for 2 ring feeder network,prove its for curved shape antenna array has enhanced effect,put forward a kind of a scheme to improve the performance of antenna,and simulation analysis.5)Using MATLAB to simulate the OAM communication process,and tested the error rate under three modulation modes,and discussed the multipath effect under FSK and PSK modulation and the multiplexing technology under QPSK.
