Recent years,Orbital Angular Momentum(OAM)electromagnetic technology is becoming a hot point in wireless communication gradually.It provides an ideal direction for improving the communication rate and spectrum utilization.This paper focuses on the research of array antennas generating waves carring OAM and its purity theory.The main work is as follows:Firstly,the basic knowledge is briefly summarized including the background of antenna arrays generating waves carrying OAM and the research status at home and abroad.The technical principle of orbital angular momentum,the related theory of OAM purity,and the development and application of genetic algorithm in antenna synthesis are introduced.It provides the necessary theoretical support for the following research work.Secondly,a planar array antenna is designed to generate electromagnetic beams with orbital angular momentum.On this basis,the influence of different parameters on the electric field radiation pattern of the antenna is analyzed,and the relationship between the number of elements and the mode of OAM that can be generated is proposed.Finally,the mode purity of OAM beams generated by orbital angular momentum array antenna is systematically analyzed,and the purity formulas and parameter analysis in different arrays are proposed.The parameters of the array antenna are also optimized by genetic algorithm to obtain the best directivity and purity in practical application.
