In recent years, the orbital angular momentum (orbital angular momentum, OAM) is introduced into the field of wireless communication from the field of optical. By using the orthogonality of the different modes of the electromagnetic wave with the orbital angular momentum,different signals can be transmitted at the same frequency, which will have a great potential to improve the utilization of the spectrum and the capacity of the wireless channel. This paper is focus on designing of the wireless transmitting and receiving array antenna which is applied to the orbital angular momentum. The main work is as follows:First of all, the development status of orbital angular momentum is briefly summarized, and the characteristics of the antennas which can radiate orbital angular momentum are introduced and analyzed. These provide the theoretical basis and support for the follow-up research work.Secondly, we design some circular array antennas which can be applied to the orbital angular momentum. We can realize the flexible use of different application scenarios by changing the different array elements.For the array antenna, the feed network is a very important factor. So a simple phase shifter is designed to achieve phase control. The simulation results show that these structures can be very good radiation the electromagnetic wave carrying OAM.Finally, cylindrical array antenna is proposed based on circular array,which is analyzed and simulated with the dipole as the array element. By arranging the circular array into linear array, the performance of the antenna can be improved, so that the beam is more concentrated and can spread farther distance.
