Conventional Quadric Error Metrics Edge Collapse based on point pairs can not satisfied texture mapping of model in 3D field.In order to manage model simplification with texture mapping attributes,we must make use of halfedge data structure which record relationship of vertex coordinates,edge and face via halfedge.But conventional halfedge data structure can not man-age nonmanifold.In this article we present a method for solving nonmanifold problem in mannifold data structure.And we also present a new data structure based on haledge sucessfully managing nonmanifold case.Under the new data structure,it is very convinent to edit and rebuild mesh information.
