With the rapid development of self-media,vertical self-media has won the favor of a large number of fan audiences.Vertical self-media is not only a new area of development from self-media,but also a reference and development trend of vertical media for the future.In order to better study the status of vertical media,this article adopts multiple perspectives and first defines the concept of vertical self-media.Vertical self-media is a form of media that focuses on specific fields or certain specific needs.At the same time,this article focuses on the nature of sub-public communication and Niche media from vertical self-media,and the theoretical analysis of the three types of information and the degree of relevance and the selectivity of information processing are presented.The three propagation modes have been studied systematically from vertical self-media,the single-line vertical propagation mode,one point and multi-line vertical propagation mode,and the comprehensive matrix vertical propagation mode.The innovation of new media,the penetration of the Internet in various industries,and the fissile development of the self-media,has caused all media to face bottlenecks in development,which in turn has prompted the media to explore new areas of development.And the demand for specialization and depth of information from fan audiences has also increased.These have led to the emergence of vertical self-media that focus on certain specific areas or specific needs.In recent years,since the rapid development of vertical self-media,it has also presented its own unique communication characteristics-personality and individuality,professionalism and segmentation,polymerization and clusterization.The vertical development of the media is a trend.The development of vertical selfmedia is broad and the audience space is huge.However,the development of the vertical self-media has been combined with advances and tortuous.At present,vertical self-media has exposed some problems,such as in terms of positioning,weak features,easy to copy and more competitors;in terms of content,low threshold,strong discreteness,and low identification;in terms of attention,high fan conversion rate,low activity;In terms of specification,blurred boundaries.After analyzing the rise of vertical self-media and its causes,this article studies the theoretical basis of vertical self-media and the types of existing propagation modes from vertical selfmedia public number as the starting point,thus reflecting the current development of vertical self-media.This article systematically elaborates the important meaning of vertical self-media.It has realized the transformation from single dimension to multidimension,opened up the vertical field of media,satisfied the multi-level and personalized appeal of fan audiences.
