Wireless communication relies on the electromagnetic signal transmitted by space as the carrier to complete the process of information transmission.the antenna is one of the most crucial parts of wireless communication.The transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves Rely on the antenna to complete.The pros and cons of the antenna performance will directly determine the pros and cons of the UWB system performance.There are many narrow-band signals in the work band of the UWB antenna,which inevitably interfere with each other.Therefore,as the UWB antenna design,we must face how to achieve band notched characteristic.The traditional band notch method design process is difficult and complex,hard to implement multi-band notch characteristic,and also will have an deteriorate on the antenna's radiation performance.In response to the above problems,proposed a new method based on electromagnetic band gap structure.The main contents of the thesis include the following aspects:(1)The feed line model analysis method is used to analyze the principle of traditional Mush-EBG and the notch function,and the influence of the parameters of the electromagnetic band gap structure.(2)In order to solve the problem that Mush-EBG is too large and not adaptive to achieve multi-band notch characteristic,As-EBG is proposed and its band notch performance Parameters have been analysis.(3)Band-notch antennas based on Mush-EBG and As-EBG are designed and compared.The analysis results show that the proposed As-EBG notch has excellent performance.Compared with the traditional Mush-EBG.The As-EBG size has been reduced by 66.67%.At the same time,we achieved the excellent performance of an independent notch frequency band,adjustable notch center frequency and adjustable stop band width.(4)A four band-notched ultra-wideband antenna is designed by using the As-EBG.The effective working frequency band of the antenna covers 3.0-11.3GHz.As-EBG structure is loaded on both sides of the feed line to realize WIMAX,WLAN,HIPERLAN/2 and X band of satellite band notch characteristic.Proposed antenna Eliminate the mutual interference between the UWB antenna and the above narrowband devices.And then,made the real object and further proved the feasibility of the method proposed by the author through the comparison between the measured data and the simulation data.In the end,we proved the notch center frequency and stop band bandwidth of the antenna are adjustable,also the method with good reusability.
