To evolve the traditional 2G/3G mobile communication network to 4G LTE network smoothly,the major change is the air protocol of the wireless network interface,while in the core network one of the most important changes is distributed HSS node.The distributed HSS achieves the integration of 2G/3G/4G network.Distributed HSS in the 4G LTE network belongs to the core network nodes.It plays an important role in the new generation of mobile communication networks.Distributed HSS is the most important node both in the traditional CS voice service,and in PS data service which is currently growing quickly.The research of distributed HSS in mobile communication network will help to realize the smooth evolution of mobile communication network and build the foundation for the evolution of traditional circuit domain network to full IP communication network.No matter how the development of the mobile communication network,HSS node which is used for storing user data is undoubtedly the most important node in the network.The research of distributed HSS is very useful for the 5G network deployment,and it has a high reference value for the internet of things in the feture.Firstly,in this thesis the author researches the position and function of distributed HSS in 4G LTE mobile communication network and researches the importance of the evolution of mobile communication network from 2G/3G traditional circuit domain network to full IP 4G LTE network.The author focuses on the distributed HSS interfaces in 4G LTE network and the protocols of the interfaces,the author studies the distributed HSS S6 a interface Diameter protocol and the related signaling processes,such as: Update Location process,Cancel Location process,Purge process,Authentication process,Insert Subscriber Data process,Delete Subscriber Data process,Notify process,Reset process.In the thesis,the author introduces the distributed HSS building in Heilongjiang MCC 4G LTE network project,introduces the network security risks,and provides the network solution for the risks.The author analyses the performance of the distributed HSS,such as: Update Location Ratio,Cancel Location Ratio,Authentication Ratio,Insert Subscriber Data Ratio,Notify Ratio.
