| China's college newspapers are an important part of China's journalism.In its more than one hundred years of history,it has been continuously evolving with the development of China's higher education and China's journalism.After the founding of New China in 1949,China's higher education system has undergone a tremendous transformation.China's college newspapers have become institutional reports under the school party committee and administrative leadership,and have played an extremely important role in the reform of higher education and the construction of the country in the early days of the founding of the country.However,judging from the currently available information,there is relatively little research on the functions and characteristics presented by the academic newspapers in this academic period.These study lack both the dimension of history and the difference of school newspapers.Therefore,this article takes Xiamen University's school newspaper XIN XIA DA from 1950 to 1960 as an example to analyze its news reports during this period to discuss the functions and features of the college newspapers in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China in order to be able to fill the blank in school newspaper research.The first part of the entire paper is the origin of the problem,the research status,and the research methods.The second part introduced in detail of the Xiamen University Newspaper before the XIN XIA DA.And it also introduces the background of XIN XIA DA newspaper,and its editorial guidelines,layout arrangements,publication and distribution,and the construction of the correspondent team.The third part analyzes the news content published in XIN XIA DA and summarizes the functions and features presented in the case.The fourth part is the evaluation part,combining with the newspaper's performance during this period,reflecting on the reasons for its gains and losses during this period.The fifth part is the summary of the previous study of xinxia newspaper. |
