Zhou Shutao was one of the most famous collectors since the Republic of China,and also considered the last great book collector of the long Chinese private book collection history.He was keen on precious books such as Song,Yuan,Ming,the Manuscript and the Modified during search books.He persisted in writing Tiba for the collected books and in a total of 192 pieces.The Tiba of collection consists of recording experience about search books,expressing feelings about life,recording result about emendation,recording source and gone about books,recording the versions of books,recording stories with other collector,and recording to discuss the price with bookseller in order to buy books,Tiba was a conclusion that reflects he how to pursue studies,with a high documental value.With the study of Zhou Shutao's TiBa of collection that can indirectly reflect the thoughts of Zhou Shutao's collection of books.This article first gave a brief introduction to Zhou Shutao and his collection,included Zhou Shutao's life,some things about searching books,the features of collection and the act of donation.The second part to classify the Tiba of Zhou shutao's collection of books.The Tiba of collection of Zhou Shutao record what you learned and gained in the collection and sorting of ancient books.It includes the following aspects,such as reveal basic information about books,the process of how to get the book,determine the version of books and record the process of collation,describe the life situation and express life emotion,record the stories of books and the historical facts and so on.This chapter first of all puts forward the Tiba of the collection.and on the basis of understanding the Tiba of the collection,uses the traditional ancient book classification to categorize the Tiba of Zhou Shutao in accordance with the Jing,Shi,Zi and Ji,so as to have a comprehensive and macroscopical grasp of the Tiba;At the same time,using the method of analysis,induction and classification to classify all the contents of Zhou Shutao's TIba,It includes five categories:the first of the introduction and the revelation,the second of the recordation and the narrated,the third of the collating and the verification,the fourth of the enlightenment and the feeling of life,the fifth of the confusion to Tiba.In the third part,through more in-depth study and analysis of Zhou Shutao's Tiba,summarized Zhou Shutao's thought of collection,which is reflected in six aspects,firstly,the difficult of search books-reflect the thought of Zhou Shutao addicted to books;secondly,the sources of books-reflect the thought of Zhou Shutao in search books has a good way;thirdly,take good care of books-reflect the thought of Zhou Shutao wants to benefit of other people;fourthly,be careful of emendation-reflect the thought of Zhou Shutao wants to promote the learning better development;the fifth,deep love to books-reflect the thought of Zhou Shutao wants to use books better;the last,divide ranks for books-reflect the thought of Zhou Shutao grading books strictly.In this paper,I hope to present the contribution of Zhou Shutao how to protect and carry forward the traditional culture of China through the study of Zhou Shutao's Tiba,analysis the thought of Zhou Shutao in collection books,meanwhile it provides a valuable reference for people to understand and study Zhou Shutao and his activities in collection books fully.
