With the rapid development and population of new-generation information technolo-gies like Mobile Internet,Cloud Computing,and Big Data,traditional campus have grad-ually changed from electronic campus,digital campus to the stage of smart campuses.As the unified identity authentication platform and the integrated information service portal,the Smart Campus Information Portal provides faculties and students with convenient,per-sonalized,and intelligent information services in teaching,research,management,and life.This paper researches on smart campus information portal with microservice architecture,discussing the design and the implementation of information portals in detail,and focuses on improving traditional information portals' system architecture,functions and user ex-perience,improving the scalability and intelligence.First of all,this paper introduces the concept,development and researching status of smart campus information portal.A set of campus information portal evaluation criteria which composed of 3 levels,7 dimensions,and 27 indexes has been preliminarily proposed by reading documents,Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation.This paper samples and evaluates different batches of university's information portals in China,analyses the construction status of domestic university information portal and clarifies its' future design.Secondly,this paper studies the microservice architecture with its key technologies and the optimization of the front-end performance based on the virtual DOM(Document Object Model)in depth,improves the core algorithm of the virtual DOM,DOM-DIFF algorithm and applies it to the design of the smart campus information portal.According to the requirements of users,this paper introduces the general design of smart campus information portals,splitting it into relatively independent functional microservices and basic microservices,and designing core functional microservices like personalized recom-mendation,data center,workflow and unified authentication in details.The complete com-ponents of the Spring Cloud framework are used to implement basic microservices.Finally,this paper implements workflow microservice,system microservice,unified authentication microservice and basic microservice in detail by building the smart campus information portal project of Central China Normal University.Functional tests,system evaluation and user satisfaction survey have been conducted after the deployment of sys-tem.This paper initially builds a new campus information portal evaluation system,im-proves the front-end performance optimization algorithm,use the ANTD UI design lan-guage,greatly enhance the user experience,and uses microservice architecture to solve the traditional campus information portals's poor scalability and hard maintenance.This re-search result have a good reference value for the design and implementation for future smart campus information portal.
